Sue Bradley M.Ed., RCC, CCC

Navigating the social and emotional challenges of life, family, friends, work and/or school can be

overwhelming and challenging. Taking care of our mental health is vital to our well-being - it helps to

have a supportive and nurturing environment to better understand our struggles and how to express

and communicate our needs and emotions in positive ways. Counselling can provide the space to learn

tools and strategies for self-awareness and reflection while feeling heard and acknowledged.

My Approach to the Counselling Relationship

Building a connection based on trust and mutual respect is a priority in my practice. I believe that through a safe and therapeutic relationship clients of all ages can recognize their strengths and capabilities and move forward towards change. I’ve worked with clients throughout the lifespan and have a special passion for supporting children and youth on their developmental journey.

My approach is client-centred and trauma informed. I take a holistic approach to counselling to create a unique plan for your healing and growth. This might include things like mindfulness practices, exploring past history, setting goals for your future and working on developing a stronger mind-body connection. I am committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can feel comfortable exploring their deepest thoughts and feelings.

My background & Experience

I’ve worked as a clinical counsellor for over 25 years in a variety of community agencies, private practice and Employee Assistance work. For the past 9 years I’ve been in the role of District Elementary Counsellor for Rocky Mountain School District. Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse set

of clients, including children and youth, individuals and families. I’ve helped people overcome many

different types of challenges, from depression and anxiety to relationship issues and life transitions.

The knowledge I’ve gained in my career has given me a unique perspective and insight into the needs of children, youth and families in our world today.

In addition to my counselling work, I am available to provide consultation to workplaces, schools and have years of experience facilitating workshops and small groups. I have training as a Counsellor Supervisor and it is important to me to provide new counsellors with qualified support and guidance to

create an environment for clients to feel confident that they are receiving competent and compassionate care.
