Who I work with

You might be managing a lot on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected or unsure of yourself underneath. Maybe you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, a difficult relationship or a major life change, or noticing old patterns repeating. You may be struggling to balance your own needs with caring for others, including caring for a parent or partner with dementia. I work with adults and couples who want to understand themselves better, reconnect with their needs, and find a different way forward. My approach is warm, compassionate and grounded in curiosity.

Areas of focus

Main focus: Trauma · Anxiety & Stress · Attachment & relational patterns
Also work with: Burnout · Relationship Issues · Anxiety & stress · Depression · Self-esteem · Life transitions · Emotional regulation · Identity & self-discovery · Dementia & caregiver support

How I work

My approach is trauma-informed and strengths-based, grounded in the connection between our experiences, relationships and bodies. I draw on CBT, ACT, EMDR, mindfulness and somatic approaches, along with the Neuroaffective Relational Model (NARM). In our first few sessions, we’ll explore what brought you to counselling, what matters most to you, and what you hope will change. I aim to create a warm, collaborative space where you can slow down, feel heard, and get curious about patterns that may no longer serve you. We’ll work at a manageable pace, building awareness and practical resources for meaningful change.

A bit about me

Outside of work, I value time in nature, travel, and chances to slow down and reconnect with what matters. My interest in mindfulness and the mind–body connection shapes how I understand the many ways people make sense of their experiences. I bring curiosity, compassion and respect for each person’s journey.
